GeoSpatial Technologies have emerged as the most essential part of all types of planning and development. Read a thought provoking article on why GIS is slow in adoption in India. Restrictions on maps, Remote Sensing and other data has been debated for decades.
With emergence of drones and ability to capture spatial data with high resolution and accuracy, the existing policies need changes.
