I have a feeling that the quality of Geospatial technologists as on today need to be improved as the incoming student quality is not up to the mark. This is a very serious issue for the development and sustenance of the geospatial technology. The solution to this problem lies in involving students , researchers, professionals working in the areas of advanced computational technologies and putting them with domain experts of cartography, urban planning architecture and surveying technology. This one day workshop on 5th Sept is an effort in this direction with specific focus.
